You will not be able to extend your stay if you enter Indonesia under the visa-free facility. Travellers intending to remain in Indonesia for longer than 30 days can apply for a visa from an Embassy or Consulate of Indonesia or apply for a visa on arrival (for a fee of $US35). HIDEAWAY is a stand alone residence that has a fully equipped self-contained kitchen. There are many cafes, restaurants and bars in close walking distance to the villa with many also offering delivery service or take-away. The local currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (RP). As currency often fluctuates, we recommend that you check the rate prior to your departure to Bali. Currency exchange services are available at many locations throughout Bali, though please speak with your driver for a genuine exchange business. Always ensure you count your money carefully prior to leaving money exchange companies as you will have no restitution if you find an irregularity. ATMs are available a short walk from the villa. Generally, credit cards can be utilised at larger hotels, restaurants and shopping venues, however, please be advised that there are few tourist areas that only accept cash. If you plan to bring currency from your own country, please ensure you keep it stored securely in the provided electronic safes prior to attending a money exchange business.
Cotton or lightweight clothing is suitable for daywear. Light cotton clothes are most comfortable to wear in this warm climate. If you plan to visit a temple, please check with Leacott Retreats staff or your tour guide as to any dress codes that may be applicable.
